ABOUT ME
As founder of the company, I strive to provide high quality and dynamic therapy. I graduated summa cum laude from Kean University with my bachelors degree in psychology and concentration in Fine Arts. While working full time, and participating in my internship at a leading psychiatric hospital in NJ, I then graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with my masters degree in clinical and counseling psychology.
Shortly following graduation I obtained my license as an associate counselor and substance awareness coordinator. I have since returned to trainings to gain further expertise in behavioral approaches for children, positive parenting, crisis management, management and supervision, eating disorders, cognitive behavioral therapy, group dynamics and supervision, and client centered therapy.
Historically, I have worked as a therapist for three years in an inpatient adolescent psychiatric unit, and an adult dual diagnosis unit at a leading New Jersey psychiatric facility. I also enjoyed five years working as a therapist, and later being the coordinator of a top adolescent psychiatric partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program in New Jersey.
I have spent the last six wonderful years conducting individual, group, family, and couples therapy in my current office in Red Bank, and am excited to announce I have now opened a secondary Bergen County office in downtown Ramsey, New Jersey. I have had the most amazing experiences and the pleasure of meeting absolutely wonderful individuals in the process.
MY PHILOSOPHY
The ultimate goal is for you to feel better and fulfilled, as quickly as possible. In order to achieve this goal, we vow to be available to both yourself and those you allow us to communicate with, in a timely manner. We are conveniently available via e-mail, phone, and text message for your convenience.
It is my belief that everyone should have access to the help they need. Therefore, in my practice, I am willing to work with clients, as needed, regarding insurance submission, out of network reimbursement, and a sliding scale fee pending financial need.
We additionally pledge to provide individualized, attentive and supportive treatment of the highest quality to each and every client in our practice. We have a passion for working with our clients, and truly love what we do. With a dynamic and eclectic approach, we work closely with our clients to successfully treat a myriad of clinical issues. We pledge to be there for you to help you achieve your goals.
